.New publication from Forbes, where collected the 100 companies most important and powerful in the world on the basis of figures for sales, profits, assets and market value. We started with the first 10 companies that top the list.
First we have the U.S. Bank JPMorgan, followed by another bank in position number 2, HSBC.
In third place we find ourselves with the American financial conglomerate General Electric (GE).
In fourth place we have the American oil company exxon mobil corporation , followed by another Dutch oil company occupying the fifth position, Royal dutch shell.
The sixth is for Petrochina followed by bank ICBC in the seventh.
The eighth position is for the Group Investor of Warren Buffett, berkshire hathaway.
In the ninth and tenth position we have to the Brazilian Petrobras and another American banking group, Citigroup.
Our Spanish companies who head the top of the 100 companies on the Forbes list are Banco Santander, occupying the number 13, Telefónica in 31st position and BBVA ranked number 66.
As we can see, the world's most powerful companies are banks and oil companies.
